Description: Homeopathic (Greek for "like the disease") preparation based on principle of "like cures like". The method of action for homeopathic preparations is currently unknown. Theories of cellular memory have emerged from the "quantum" approach to physics. One unblinded study comparing effectiveness of Anti-Anxiety and diazepam reported the two preparations were approximately equal in their clinical effectiveness.
Indications and Usage: Mild to moderate anxiety, sympathetic nervous system hyperarousal, situational stress, insomnia, phobic behavior, and hot flashes, dizziness and high blood pressure related to elevated anxiety levels. Can also be used to assist in withdrawal from benzodiazepine drugs.
Contraindications: Do not use this product if you are pregnant or lactating without first seeking advice from your physician.
Dosage and Administration: Adults and children 12 years of age and older: 20 drops in 3 ounces of water every 3 hours 4 times a day, or as directed by a homeopathic physician. Avoid caffeine, menthol, peppermint and food one-half hour before and after taking dose. For withdrawal from benzodiazepine drugs initiate use of Anti-Anxiety (30 drops 3 times per day) and begin very slow tapering schedule. Continue using Anti-Anxiety for 30 days after full discontinuation of allopathic drug.
Clinical Effect In: Varies depending on individual constitution. Generally several days but for some person's immediate effects may be experienced.
